I always preferred Maurice Andre playing the piccolo trumpet. These
days, when Wynton Marsalis is playing serious music, he's my favorite
trumpet player. Andre is still with us, thankfully.

Here's an oldie of Andre playing a bit of Bach. A bit more involved
than Taps.

You can actually like both, unless you only purpose is to be a pompous ass.

Pompous ass is one of his finer attributes.
