John C. Beale was returned to Falcon Field in Peachtree City,
Georgia, just south of Atlanta, on June 11, 2009. The Henry County
Police Department escorted the procession to the funeral home in
McDonough, Georgia. A simple notice in local papers indicated the
road route to be taken and the approximate time.

Nowadays one can be led to believe that America no longer respects
honor and no longer honors sacrifice outside of the military. Be it
known that there are many places in this land where people still
recognize the courage and impact of total self-sacrifice. _Georgia_

It's too bad that in January 2001, a simple-minded man took over the
U.S. presidency and later that year initiated a series of actions that
resulted in the unnecessary deaths of 4,000 Americans, tens of
thousands or even hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and Afghanis, and

A better tribute is to welcome home returning *live* soldiers and
assuring them they never again will be sent off to fight a war of
convenience.

Then where is the railing against Clinton for involving us in a Bosnian
War? We are still there.
