Give him a kiss! The conspiracy nuts have been stocking up on powder
and ammo... to such an extreme degree that they have driven prices sky
high and made many things quite difficult to obtain. That even goes
for black powder......

I know of guys buying cases of ammo, waterproofing them, and burying
them in the back yard. When the "end-times" don't materialize as
expected, in a few years they'll be out there like squirrels trying to
find that out-of-date ammo.

Can't remember the details, but when I a bit too young to think
clearly, I buried a cheap briar pipe to "age" it.
No waterproofing of course.
Unfortunately, I remembered where I buried it.
Fortunately, I never tried that with my meerschaums.
