Default Just an Update on Why I'm so Special

As a child, I was never allowed to participate in any sports, go outside
to play, or anything because of the inherent dangers. Instead, I was in
my room practicing for tests and listening to my father play classical
passages perfectly by ear. Okay, so I guess you all are wondering then,
how did I get my experience and vast knowledge of anything nautical?
Well, my father, the great marina owner who was like a brother to Ole
Evinrude, would let me take any of his vast fleet out in the ocean any
time I wanted. By the time I was ten, I was so experienced that owners
of competitive racing sailboats wanted me to captain for them. I didn't,
because I was preparing to take entrance exams for Yale. Yes, at ten!
I'm special. I was accepted, but because I am so great, they allowed me
to postpone entrance until I was good and ready. That would be awhile,
because being the son of the owner of the largest marina in the
northeast, along with being the son of a great musician, a fantastic
sailor, and a well respected pipe organ repairman, I had a lot of things
on my plate. I had cars, women, etc. anytime I wanted such. I'm
surprised that you all who grew up in the New Haven area don't recall my
father's vast holdings and of my illustrious family. Do any of you
remember his crossing the Atlantic ocean in a runabout? He got a raucous
fireboat welcome in New York City for that one. Another reason I'm so
great is because of my wife. She has two doctor degrees. No, wait, she
is getting one soon. No, she already has two. Um, she's getting one
soon. Oh, never mind that, it's trivial. Let's just say she's VERY
special, almost as special as I.

I grew up in Cheshire CT, and don't recall the great man you write about as
your father. It's just a scant 25 miles from New Haven. Please fill us in
with more details, and perhaps my memory will recognize this seemingly great
man.

You might have heard about the son, Harry Krause. He was a real stud.
When he was 12 all the beautiful 16 yr old girls were out to screw
him. Where I grew up, the 16 yr old girls were all trying to date the
older guys, but Harry was more macho as a 12 yr old, than the 18 yr
olds boys.
