It's not a "free country" as Bill says. If you're caught trying to
kill yourself you get arrested. Not illegally like Gates but
legally.

My aquaintances who injested LSD, do not seem to be any smarter about
brain
function than anyone else. A couple are totally screwed up.

But they're a hell of lot more aware of what realities a brain can
manufacture when its chemistry is altered.

You remember all and remember nothing. You think you remember. I had just
left a party at a Frat house at UC Berkeley. Young man on LSD decides to
catch a passing airliner and steps on the upper story window. Splat. You
abused drugs if you did LSD. Still abusing, or loving them?

I remember the extraordinary experiences in my life as do most normal
humans. Any experimentation that I've done is long in the past. I'll
say that I wasn't afraid to try things but I never got hooked on
anything.
