$2.49 at the local pumps here. Down from $2.67, then $2.59, $2.52
Hopefully and with no rain this Saturday, it won't make the boat run
any better, but it will be a bit sweeter to know that there's some
extra bucks left in the pocket.
Compared to last year? this is a great sigh of relief.
RBOC price was up about 15 cent s last week. *That will be reflected at
the pump shortly.
Are you longing for the Days of Bush, when gas was $4+ at many locations?

Maybe you missed this line in my post, Harry.

My comment was aimed at Duck, who was commenting on your comment. *:)
I plan to haul Yo Ho over to WaWa today. $2.20 a gallon or thereabouts..

it's still holding at $2.42 *at the local pumps here. The next little
town 7 mi away is $2.39, though...

Prices the way they are now, you'd think Harry would fill up his 36'
Zimmerman like lobster boat, huh?

Not necessarily. Count Krausula probably owns his own marina pump and
gets bargain fuel directly from Venezuela. I'm sure as being a most
honored guest, he and Emperor Hugo Chavez have had many a delightful
discussion concerning the evils of your country over gala luncheons
hosted by the very dictator himself.

Regardless as others pay, he fuels his trawler for free.
