Indeed, while it is not a good idea to draw a universal truth from a small
sample size, I have to admit Lt. Col. Herring and Buck Private Bertie
convinced me that "how low can you go?" was the motto of the military when
they signed up for the armed forces.

...and if it wasn't when they signed up...it sure earned that motto quickly.
The US Military should train the recruiters better to catch these mistakes.
