Very nice. Impressive skills. Minor point, but those are acoustic CE's,
meaning they have cut-away bodies and electronic pickups. The transmitter
can be seen sticking our of the end of the body. I couldn't quite make out
the headstock, but they look like Martin D-45's or similar. So .....
I am continually impressed with the number of people who come into the shop
and can play guitars with considerable skill. The shop is attracting many
of the bands that perform on the South Shore and Cape. Although most are
electric guitar players and use electronic enhancements in their bands, many
often pick up one of the acoustic Taylors or Martins and can play equally as
well in either classical or modern, finger picking style.
I love hearing them played, particularly the Martins, from the "listener's"
location. When playing one, you don't hear the richness of sound they
produce compared to sitting in front of one, listening.
An electric, enhanced with a nice, warm chorus effect is also very pretty to
listen to.
