Subscribe to rec.boats or log in as in user name and password?

Subscribe. Every time, if I click on rec.boats to check for new
messages, it asks if I want to subscribe to that newsgroup. It also does
it with another group that I frequent.

Must'a clicked something by accident. I would uninstall and start over.
It only takes a minute for the setup but you already know that...
