I wouldn't go much of anywhere on a 49 ft Mainship although some
people like them. I regard them as mostly marina condos. It takes
a very specialized, and usually expensive, power boat to cross oceans
although there are quite a few with that can do 1,000 to 2,000 miles
on their own tankage. The best way to get most powerboats to Europe
or Asia is on a freighter. It's actually cheaper that way when you
consider maintenance, depreciation, insurance, etc.
