Didn't you read Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil or see the film,
or both? :) Great book, terrific movie, and the latter so, so, so
"out of character" for its time for those who thought they knew "all
about" Clint Eastwood. :)

Never heard of it. Looked at a review, and it appears to be a very
sordid story.
Although I already get plenty of that sordid stuff thrown at me here
and in news accounts of Gov Sanford, I put it in my Netflix queue,
because Spacey's in it.
Besides, my wife likes sordid stories, being a Lifetime network fan
and all.

Though the stories obviously are the same, the movie takes quite a bit
of poetic license with the facts in the book, but both "versions" are
enjoyable. Savannah has been one of our favorite places to visit stay
for a few days for many years. Parts of the city are simply beautiful,
plus there are good restaurants, and *interesting* people. If we lived
in the south again, the Savannah, Charleston, and Hilton Head areas
would be at the top of the list.

Spacey, as you might guess, is terrific in the movie.
