The Benjamin Moore paint store
I bought it at gave me a 10% discount butstill charged me $32.00.
I think they made a mistake...the two otherplaces I looked.. at the
Glidden store, it was $18.00 and at Home Depot..$19.00.That was the
double insult to injury. The thing reminded me of a limpwristed
Looney or JustHate. When used on the 8'-16' extended pole, thebrush
flopped around. Anyway, I wouldn't mind paying the price for a
realpro piece of gear that would last me a lifetime..

Takes some experience to use a brush on a pole, and if the pole isn't
stiff it's even harder.
My brother was a professional painter for decades, and I asked him.
He's got 2 pole brush holders, and he bought them at a Ben Moore
store, and they work fine. But he bought them 30 years ago.
He said a good pole is stiff - and unfortunately, heavy.
If the brush holder clamps aren't loosening, you've got other issues.
In the meantime, look at this for a "can on a stick".
Juryrig stuff, but whatever works. I always like looking at tools.

Hyde Quickreach is a good spray stick if you're set up for spraying.
About $130.
