The engines are out but the new pans aren't the right ones and either
have to be returned or modified and it will take more time.

His surveyor has recommended that he have patience. The few things
that he discovered or recommended in the survey have been addressed or
corrected and he has given the boat a clean bill of health. But it
appears the buyer is concerned that much of the summer will be gone
before he can take ownership and decided to look elsewhere.

I wouldn't worry about "resigning" from rec.boats when and if you become
boatless. At least half the regular posters here are in the boatless
category, including your BFF floridajim.
