|It is ironic that a person who sails supports windmills. *Don't they
|remember the hours that they have sat on their boats on a windless
|summer evening.
|
|Do they think that the windmills will produce energy when there is not
|enough wind to move their boats?
|
|Thank God we're not as stupid as the liberal French making 80% of
|their electricity from nuclear energy!

I'm gonna lean toward the ultraconservatives and vote for wind. I
currently pay two power bills. The nuclear fuel one is 30% higher than
the fossil fuel one and that doesn't account for finally paying the
piper and figuring out what to do with all of the warehoused spent
fuel waste.....

I'm all for most forms of non polluting, non fossil fuel power. I
would have to think that with a good solid nuclear power program the
price would go down. I wonder if it's the norm for people that are
using nuclear power to pay more? I know that Georgia has some nuke
plants operating, and want to build more. But we only get one bill
from a co-op so I don't know.
