You could be right, and then I think back to 1980 and Jimmy Carter's bid
for a second term. Granted, the Iranian hostage crisis, rampant inflation,
and a few scandals in his cabinet had their effects. It's a long time to
2012; plenty of time for stubbing one's toes. Iran and Israel/Palestine are
still to be dealt with. North Korea is a thorn in any president's side. The
economy is not improving, and by 2010, voters are not going to be blaming
Bush any more.
Good memory about out Carter. Many forget the wider situation. Think
there was a "gas crisis" in there too.
The point about it being "Obama's economy" is likewise on target.
Look's like it's already happened.
A while back Eisboch took issue with me blaming Reagan for my being
laid off during the worst economy since the depression, and for saying
that Obama will likewise take the fall soon into office.
Look's like Richard had jumped aboard.
Knew he was sensible.

Republicans have hope...but it's the hope Obama will fail. They've
nothing else to hope for...since they and their party are bereft of
ideas, solutions, anything.
Sarah Palin...the great white GOP hope...
Hope is not a plan and they have no plan, nor any ideas.
