Exactly right. Independent voters are a fickle lot, though they tend to
force R's and D's to find a rational center. Krause and his ilk write like
they are on the front end of a long reign in Washington.

Unless Osamabama delivers, they will be wondering what went wrong, and a lot
of D's in Disneyland on the Potomac will be looking for work in 2010 and
2012.

An old adage is appropriate he "May my words be tender, for I may have to
eat them later."
