One term, as in Carter's fiasco. We need new leadership - other than
Palin
or Gingrich in 2012. Here's hoping someone rises from the ashes....
Gingrich has risen from the ashes. That's your plan?
Have you ever heard the hope is not a plan?
What could be funnier than the frontrunners for the 2012 GOP nomination
being Newt Gingrich, a retreaded congressman with serious ethical
issues, and Sarah Palin, a simple-minded, ignorant woman whose
intellectual gaffes are emblazoned on hours of "HD" videotape?
Bring 'em on...
It's embarassing these buffoons could be put forward by one of the two
US policial parties to be leaders of our country and the free world.
A joke is putting it kindly.
If Palin or Newt are the only choices in 2012, might as well go for the
Libertarian candidate; certainly not for the Messiah and his hand puppet.
That'll put you squarely in the losing camp. I'd start searching high
schools for who may bring some ideas and value to the party by 2016.
You could be right, and then I think back to 1980 and Jimmy Carter's bid
for a second term. Granted, the Iranian hostage crisis, rampant inflation,
and a few scandals in his cabinet had their effects. It's a long time to
2012; plenty of time for stubbing one's toes. Iran and Israel/Palestine are
still to be dealt with. North Korea is a thorn in any president's side. The
economy is not improving, and by 2010, voters are not going to be blaming
Bush any more.
