That's almost true for any kind of body of water. :)

By the way, 35 mph seems a little slow to me. :)


If you can always have it in the lift in less than ten minutes then
whatever is fast enough to avoid thunderstorms. In our area the major
hazard is being run down by a drunk, or killed at anchor by cops, who
tried to blame the victim.

My gauge is the GPH-O-Meter. When I'm cruising around in my Parker, I
like to see it reading 5 to 6 or so GPH. I don't see a reason in the
world to hand over more money than "necessary" to the pig oil companies.
