Eagles used to be fairly rare but I imagine you could see one just

Just the other day - I was in my garage and bang, boom, crash - a dead
branch fell out of the big ash tree in front of my house - three big
female eagles fighting over a dead squirrel in the road.

Got some picture, but I couldn't get close enough to get a real good
shot - they kept moving around.

Last winter, there were two males at Roseland Park Lake for a couple
of weeks. The ice fishermen would leave dead horn pout out on the ice
for them. Finally had to get DEP involved to get them to stop feeing
the eagles.

I have them in my woods every Spring for a few weeks and there are a
lot of them along the Connecticut River.
