Only one way to describe Whale Wars...

The show is a joke, obviously, and it is also obvious that few here are

boats. Typical.
No - it's not a joke - it's absoutely serious and that's the joke.
What this douche bag Watson is doing endangers not only his crew, but
his ship and the crews and ships of other nations. Direct
confrontations aren't the answer to the problem. Throwing stink bombs
at crew members isn't the answer. Fouling props at sea, with it's
potential for serious loss of both life and ships, isn't the answer.
Launcing Zodiacs with under trained, under equipped and under powered
boats at night to "attack" a whaling ship isn't the answer. He's as
close as you can come to being a pirate.
He could do so much more - showing the flag, documenting the damage,
pulling long lines - there's a thousand things he could do that would
be more effective and cost his targets much more money.
Instead, he risks his crew's lives and safety to make a point.
He's a moron regardless of the issue.
