If by that you mean the squirrels got into the baits, I suggest either
an air rifle, selective that, or a bait container with a rat sized
hole that is too small for the squirrels. Unless you consider them
vermin, of course. Thing about poisons is that mice die in the walls
and you have a million flies.
Another thing, the poison they use is coumerin, AKA warfarin, and is
found in the supermarket under the name of D-Con. They sell the
prepared baits for probably a tenth what the exterminator cost.
If you want to pay through the nose, you could buy laser grade
coumerin.
