I've run across his name many times in trying to get educated about
boats.
I suspect some here have been in boats of his design.

I saw that elsewhere. There were several Bolger-designed sailboats in
Milford harbor when I was growing up in that area, including a couple of
"sharpies." I wonder if any of those beautiful old wood sailboats are
still floating...
We had an L16, a beautiful molded ply sailboat designed and built by
Bill Luders in Stamford. Luders designed the American Eagle, an
America's Cup contender in the mid 1960's that Ted Turner raced
successfully around the world. I'll bet Luders and Bolger knew each other.
BWAAAHAAAA!!! I knew it..........- Hide quoted text -

What's really funny is 90% of the "****ty rowboats" I have built
(according to WAFA) were Bolgers or inspired by Bolger... Now that
WAFA wants to be in on the boating post, he all of a sudden thinks
Bolger boats are beautiful.. I knew it snerk Harry, WAFA....
Rest in Peace Phil.. You made small boats available to the "non-elite"
in the world..
