Default Race for the Cure - Wrap-up

On May 20, 5:11*pm, John H wrote:
Hey there! So sorry it's taken me a while to send my race wrap-up!

Anyway, I want to thank all of you who joined the team and/or
contributed. We missed those of you who weren't able to be there for
the race! It was a warm, muggy morning, but we still had lots of fun,
as we always do! Owen, our 6 year old, ran the race (five kilometers)
in 37 minutes!!!! Can you believe it?! Next year, our whole family
will run it!

Also, I have seen so many of our shirts around! Lot's of people have
commented on how great they look. I understand, too, that the kids are
having lots of fun finding their names on the back! I'm so glad they
seem to be well-liked.

Now...we are kicking around a name change for next year. Also, I'm
really looking for help on t-shirt designs for next year, so keep that
in mind!!! And I would like to challenge each team member (kids, too)
to find one person to join our team with you! *We had 144 team members
this year, which is still unbelievable to me! You guys are so
wonderfully supportive! I know you all have your own causes, but you
sure are supportive of mine, nonetheless. We raised $6,525 (ish)! That
is also just unbelievable. I set our goal lower this year, but you
guys blew that $5,000 goal out of the water.

You'll be hearing from me about next year's race right after Christmas
(if I'm on my game!).....If you have t-shirt ideas (colors/designs),
please let me know! Thanks again, so much! Just can't say it enough!!!

With love and deep appreciation--

Renee

Hey, John, I saw a bumper sticker this morning that made me think of
you and your daughter. It was the usual pink ribbon that I know you've
seen a million times because of your involvement, but the caption was
the great part. It simply said "Save the Ta-Tas"!
