Anybody here own one of these?

I have a potential buyer for my Ranger who seems really hot to trot -
we're just negotiating on some minor issues.
I've been looking around and these seem to have some appeal to me for
some reason.
Anybody have any experience with them?
Had 4 (17' & 19' with Johnson 70 and 90s respectively) at the environmental
company I worked for in 95-96. They bought for the shallow draft which was
handy when performing spill clean ups.
Puttering around flat water they're fine, but get a little chop and that
flat bottom will beat the crap out of you and the boat. Only way I could get
any speed and attemp to save my spine was to put some weight on the rail
(myself or passenger) so that the chine would dig in and act as a "v". If we
were lucky and running in a flat calm, making a turn at speed was it's own
adventure with the boat sliding sideways. Had to make sure my "ballast" was
on the "inside" rail of the turn!
Also, I wasn't impressed with the way I could see the sides oil canning when
running.
We also had a 14' old tri hull with a 40hp Merc that I would choose over the
Carolina Skiffs when whenever possible. And the tri hulls don't ride nearly
as well as a shallow v.
