The brilliance recognises no boundaries.
Odd. Herr Krause hasn't offered to tell how this was totally justified.

And to think, this happened under Your President elect's watch. Does
that mean that he is to be blamed? The papers say that When he heard
of this, your President was "furious!"

"Furious?"

Why should he be upset, when his underlings were only wishing to put
his transport in a photo opportunity and *to scare people while
wasting a healthy load of your tax money.

Your former president Bush caught hell for far less to the point that
it seemed fashionable to fault him for everything wrong in ones life.
Just ask Herr Krause.

But Herr Krause will justify this action somehow. Yea, because the
newly elected American *El Supremo can do no wrong.

What was the carbon footprint of this photo-op?

i really have no idea, but here's something about the cost of
stupidity, at the cost of the American cheque payer.

"The estimated cost for all three aircraft was $328,835, Air Force
spokeswoman Vicki Stein said in an e-mailed response to inquiries.

That includes $300,658 for the VC-25, which flew a three- hour
mission, and about $28,178 for the F-16 jets, which flew 1.8 hours
each, Stein said.

The total includes fuel used in flight, fuel needed to power ground
equipment that helped prepare the aircraft, and ground maintenance,
Stein said. The flights were a training mission and “the hours would
have been flown regardless,” she said. "

I wonder how they calculate those figures.

But she said "the hours would have been flown regardless"

????

does that mean the plane[s] would have routinely flown on that day
anyhow?

???
