Yes..we know boaters aren't always the brightest around ..take a good look

but at least none of them are trying to run the most powerful country on
earth.
Scary eh?
Well, I wouldn't' worry about McCain. he had his chance.
You're saying he's not part of Republican leadership? I'm sure that'd
be news to him.

You boast of such high intelligence, and must ask a question like that?

He may be the most trusted Republican by independents and democrats at
this point. Although he pulled a hail mary stunt by selecting
Palin as a running mate, he still has some credibility. He's
supported Obama when he felt he was right and opposed him when he's
disagreed - his integrity is far more intact than Boner, Cantor,
Gingrich, Limbaugh or Michael Steele.

For the Republicans to distance themselves or throw McCain out of the
party would be further folly but consistent with the self destructive
streak we've been witnessing for the past several years.

Now, why don't you shed some light on your thinking about McCain
instead of flippant, empty rhetoric.

Actually, McCain is about the only Republican around who a majority of
Americans respect. Who else is there? Palin? Boehner? Limbaugh? Romney?
Certainly not Gingrich, Limbaugh or the idiot congressman from Virginia,
Cantor. It's kind of humorous watching the pundits and others on the GOP
side pushing the party further to the right. It seems like a death wish.
Funnier still is the daily criticism from the right in the absence of
any reasonable ideas to help this country solve the horrific problems
left behind by idiot Bush and his gang of criminals.
