Those underdeveloped nations also get in to massive Genocide via
firearms. Maybe if the genocided had more firearms the genocidee's might
be less inclined to engage in genocide. Hell the genocidee's also seem
to use hacking instuments with vigor.

Nah, we did not do that much. If we had allowed better rules of engagement,
the war would have been over in a lot less time with a lot less killed. If
Lee Harvey had not killed Kennedy, history would have been a lot different.
And the assassin that really changed American history and government was
Sirhan Sirhan. Without him there would have not been Carter, Reagan or
Nixon for starters.
