Look like the Navy seals got the Captain back. We all knew they could

shipping. It wouldn't surprise me to see the pirates and al Qaeda hook
up, finally, as a result...
I realize that. But it is over for at least 3 pirates. Hijacking boats
and ships on the high seas is a crime that needs the plank. But now
that the ice of killing them is broken, maybe more will defend
themselves against the prirates/terrorists.

The amount of crime is equal to the tollerance for the crime.

We didn't mind destroying the Florida commercial fishing fleet to save
the mullet (fish, not haircut)
If they want to escalate the violence, sink every boat in Somalia if
you have to . It is hard to be a pirate if you are swimming out to the
ships. Let them eat corn. We seem to have so much of it we are burning
it in our cars.



Easier to just blockade Somalia's ports. There are only four ports of any
significance, and these are the ports the pirates use.

The pirates need access to "motherships." Motherships don't come out of
creeks; they need ports.

Station an old destroyer and some fast patrol boats just outside each port
entrance and stop every boat leaving port for inspection. Weapons aboard?
Put the crew on a patrol boat and take them to shore. Blow up their boat.

Why not have a sub dump some old torpedoes right into each? Saves recycling
costs and they get practice. Blow the whole port right up.
