I don't know about Garmin WRT chartplotters, but we bought a NAVMAN
5500 that performed flawlessly from the Bay to the Bahamas and back until
just
a couple months ago. Called their tech support number, got a human on the
line within a minute, determined that it was not a human error problem,
returned the unit to them, and had a brand new unit back within a week.
Very nice unit!
