I have used a boom tent like this for about 8 years. Quite simple to
make or have made. Use GoreTex for the tent. Sew in "sleeves" with re-
inforced end pockets every 2' or 3' or so of length. Run a length of
flexible fibre tent pole in each sleeve. Put a zipper in where you exit
the cockpit. Drape over the top of the boom and bungee or nylon strap to
lifelines. Works great. Last one cost me $250 to have made up.
