My wife discovered this at dinner during one of her business trips, and
bought a bottle for us upon her return. I'm about as far removed from a
wine expert as one can be, but I have to agree...the Rex Goliath merlot is
mighty fine wine. Nice label on the bottle, too.
I'll look for it. * Mrs.E. rarely drinks but when she does, she likes good
wine.

Me? *I am just not that sophisticated to appreciate fine wines. *I am a beer
guy, always was, always will be. *Just can't do it like I used to

Well, a good beer palate is just as refined as a good wine palate. Out
in CA, Trader Joe's has this wine called Two Buck Chuck, and in blind
tastings, it done better than almost all high priced stuff. Second
place I believe. Beer has been brewed for a few thousand years, the
history is amazing, and I can by yeast strains that are several
hundred years old to brew with
