Look who is simple.

What kept the heavy equipment industry alive in the US wasn't American
equipment, but Japanese and Korean equipment. CAT is only a minor
player globally.

Go take a look at any construction site and see who is building what.
If you see JB backhoes, those are British. Gehl - Japanese. Komatsu -
I'll let you guess. Aska, Hitachi, Okada, Mitsubishi - want me to keep
on going here with Korean equipment?

The American market is flooed with used and new equipment. Plus the
only thing that CAT makes worth the name "heavy equipment" are dozers
and those are a dime a dozen.
