know what an expansion tank is used for in a fresh water pump system, do

(Shhh...don't tell anyone at the dock. I cheated! Fed up with the ****
little 1 quart plastic expansion tank from "marine" dealers, I dropped by
my local hardware store plumbing department and bought a whole gallon
expansion tank with a REAL air inlet fitting on it I could pressurize when
it becomes waterlogged. Pump on....pump off...water pressure is so smooth
you'd think it was hooked to the dock!)
