I went to school with Tony Conigliaro - only he went to St Mary's in
Lynn and I went to Marblehead High. I did meet him and, minor claim
to fame, struck him out with three straight fastballs in the state
championship game pitching in relief.

I was born on the same day as Gisele Bundchen, Thomas Friedman,
Natalie Wood and Carlos Santana.

Unfortunately, I don't know any of them.

Ernie Broglio went to my high school. Graduated before my time but would
come by sometimes when we were playing pickup ball. How anybody could hit a
major league pitcher is amazing. I never got a hit off him.
