Then why was the " bend the ends out just a little " made, dummy? Once
again, your foot is in your mouth.


Or trim it a bit with the cutters you used to remove the old one, and
then spread the ends just a little. I don't think it actually makes
much difference what you do, as long as it is bent enough to stay in
the hole, it's good to go.
