It's normally a real pain in the ass to reuse them. If you just barely
spread the end they won't fall out and you can reuse them. You just
pull them out without screwing with them first. There is probably
someone so cheap they reuse safety wire.

Well, technically, just barely spreading the ends is how you are
supposed to use them..
Then why, when watching any " real " Mechanic working, do I see him
wrap one end of the cotter pin around the axle stub when replacing
wheel bearings? No wonder you failed as a Mechanic, and turned to
building ****ty boats? Oh, I forgot, you dont build ****ty boats any
more.......cant find plywood. That, and you're too stupid to look in
the right place.
Chop, chop, mother****er........ All you have left, is selling wood
from the back of your clapped-out truck. Your poor Wife, I really do
feel sorry for her.
See any headlights through your window, lately?
