I think "liberal arts" is code for indoctrination...

Naw. Back in Harry's day (and mine) one elected "liberal
arts" as
a course of study when you were entering college but didn't
have a
clue what you wanted to do with your life.
It's meaning has changed over the years.
Eisboch
Well, actually, it was a course of study for those of use who
went to
college to further our formal educations, rather than study for
a trade.
JustHate, being an uneducated smurf, probably thinks "liberal
arts"
means liberals who major in art.
If Harry's objective was to further his education, I wonder why
Harry
chose Univ. of Kansas when he could have chosen Univ. of Conn or
the
Univ. of Mass. both excellent public schools, far superior to
Kansas in
the 60's and 70's.

He graduated from Yale. Just ask him. Of course, there is absolutely
no record of it.....
Actually he played Rugby at Kansas 20 yrs before they had a Rugby
Team.

Speaking of fairy tales.. I just heard a funny commercial for the New
York Lies. The line said "The best journalists in the world work for
the Times, everybody knows that"! They make up more stories than the
National Enquirer snerk Everybody knows that!!!

"In September 1964 the Kansas City Rugby Club played its first game
against the newly formed University of Kansas RFC."
As usual, Reggie can't tell the truth from his ass or a hole in the
ground.
No, Univ. of Kansas didn't have a Rugby Team in 1964, in 1964 there was
a group of students who belonged to a "club" to play rugby. NCAA
teams do not play against non NCAA teams. Anyone can start a "club" in
fact the Univ of Kansas has basketball clubs, baseball clubs soccer
clubs etc., but if you play on the Basketball club, it doesn't mean you
play basketball for the Univ. of Kansas.
Sorry Harry, but you did not play Rugby for the Univ. of Kansas.
By the way, here is the complete list of all University of Kansas teams:

I guess since I belong to the football and basketball clubs at Columbia,
I could say I played football and basketball for Columbia University.
