I saw a Lazy Jack system I want for my sailboat to make single

sailing easier but it costs about $400, that along with the $170
GPS I
want will come to $570 to be spent on sailing gear. Millions of
such
purchases keep our economy afloat and people employed but after
listening to Obama saying how bad the economy is, Instead I sent the
money to savings.
My company sells small quantities of extremely expensive instruments
to institutions who think they need high precision elemental
analysis. Yesterday, one potential customer who thinks he needs one
of our instruments to measure nitrogen in nitrided steels told me
"We
are rethinking our purchase due to how bad Obama says the economy is
doing"..
What is going on? Sure, the real estate market melted down but the
properties still exist and there is a bottom to it. However, Obama
seems to think it is in his best interest to talk the economy into
jumping off a cliff. He has convinced millions of people that
the end
of the world is near so very few people are buying right now.
People
who would ordinarily replace that old beater they are driving are
keeping it because Obama says we are about to go broke.
Obama will directly benefit if he can drive the economy over a cliff
because he can use that as an excuse to get his "stimulus" that
does
nothing more than enrich his buddies. Obama is engaged in economic
sabotage against the American people
If you are an example of small business management, it is no
wonder we
are going to hell in a handbasket.

OK Harry, lets examine that idea of yours. I employ 2 PhD physics
types, 2 engineers, 2 techs and a business manager. We have sold
about $8 million worth of stuff to China and more to Europe to help
with the balance of trade. I started by business by building lab
equipment from my dog house wood. Could you do better?

I'm not the one who logs on here every day and whines about how the the
economy is making life difficult for me. I'm certainly glad you are
shipping our high tech off to China.

I'm not impressed by gross sales figures.

Our product is a very small niche so the sales figs are very small.
The economy has not yet made life diff for me but Obama's policies
will eventually do so and then my people will be out of work due to
Obama.

If you have $8M in annual sales with 8-10 people in your employ
(including you), that isn't too bad in my book. Of course, it all
depends on what it cost you to produce the sales.

Some people aren't impressed by those sales figures because they either
have no experience with small businesses or are simply parasites making
a living off of other people's businesses and efforts. But, multiply
your size business (whatever the product or service is) one or two
million times and it starts to put things in perspective as to what
makes this country tick.

Some people aren't impressed with "gross sales" figures because the
figures themselves don't really tell you much. Some of our larger
corporations have huge numbers for gross sales figures, and they are
teetering on bankruptcy.

I just love the "parasite" line...I suppose since your suppliers,
freight handlers, accountants, lawyers, et cetera, are making money off
the businesses of others, well, hell, they're just parasites.
