How does people dying from cold (which happens every year) determine
that there is no global warming? Also, again, specific, immediate
changes in climate (called weather) is very different from global
warming. I thought you understood this.

This is JohnH you are dealing with. The guy who couldn't figure out if
the battery charger he was going to buy online was a "smart" charger.
The problem, it turns out, is that ALL battery chargers are smarter
than he is.

So are dead batteries.
