Don, you really need to read more about your local and federal goverment.
"Canadian Crown corporations are state-owned enterprises within either the
federal or provincial and territorial jurisdictions of Canada." You were
a civil servant. Got it? I doubt it.

Wasn't a civil servant & I'm not drawing a civil servant pension. Got it?

Don,
You really need to have a better understanding of simple words before
you get into any discussion. I didn't say you were drawing a civil
servant pension. You may not have been worth it.

Let's start with some basic definitions:

According to the Canadian Government you were a civil servant:

"Canada's public service is a large body, with over 200 departments and
450,000 members, including commissions, councils, crown corporations,
the Office of the Queen's Privy Council for Canada, and the Royal
Canadian Mounted Police."

Now lets look at the definition of Civil Servant:

Civil Servant : "A civil servant or public servant is a civilian public
sector employee working for a government department or agency. The term
explicitly excludes the armed services, although civilian officials will
work at "Defence Ministry" headquarters. The term always includes the
(sovereign) state's employees; whether regional, or sub-state, or even
municipal employees are called "civil servants"

I know you don't want to accept it, but you were a Civil Servant.

GOT IT? I doubt it.
