Duh! It's not as if you're really doing all that much.... walking around in
circles with the occasional swing at a stationary ball.
When I play golf it is more of a steeplechase than a walk. I am
crashing around in the woods and it is a lot more than an occasional
swing. I get my money's worth out of golf. I get to hit the ball a
couple hundred times for the same price as some folks who only get
70-80. I usually get to see a snake.
I will tee one up in a fairway trap and hit it with my driver. Just
add the stroke penalty that is to my 205 or whatever.
Been there, done that, still doing that quite often!
It's very frustrating. I shot an 89 at my local course a few weeks back.
The next time out I shot 101. The closest I've come to an 89 since then is
a 94. Why? Who knows. Same course, same clubs, same balls. I can see why so
many people quit.
Yesterday I started with 15 on the first two holes. I didn't even add the
numbers at the end of the round. Disgusting.
We'll see what Monday brings. Supposed to hit 40 degrees and sunny.
