That makes good sense unless your goal is for the government to run the
corporations.
I visited China (PRC) back in 1986 when they were first experimenting
with the concepts of foreign investments and a subtle shift towards
capitalism.
It was an amazing exposure to life under an extreme socialist society.
(Communism)
The average Chinese factory worker had to bow to and worship his employer
who in turn worshiped his provincial mayor for the opportunity to make a
living for his family.
It was sad. And it hasn't changed.
And, it where this country is heading.

Every American and Canadian should support the union/labour movement.
If not for themselves, for their children & grandchildren.

The Chinese Government *is* the ultimate union labor establishment. Are you
sure that's what you want?
The labor unions I've been a member of didn't worship anything except
getting power for their members, and would sooner cut their employer's
throat than worship him.
Guess you don't know much about American labor unions.
And it's disgusting to call American union members Chicoms.
It is the free-trade globalists who gave the Chicoms their power.
I think the ultimate commie labor union is the WSEFU.
That would be the "Wall Street Execs ****-up Union."
That's where you'll find the cretins who push for globalism and
subservience of labor. Their minions are in the Congressional and
Executive branches of the U.S. government.
Just gave them some hundreds of billions of taxpayers money.
I have my own idea about who the commie leaders are, who are
apparatchik, and who has the dachas.
Sure as hell ain't labor unions.
BTW, while I'm ranting here, might as well tell everybody what nobody
else wants to tell them.
This country will continue its decline until we start making our own
goods again. No two ways about it.
The party is over. Wall Street's rise, and all the non-productive
"work" it has provided, is kaput. It was smoke and mirrors and a
mountain of debt buying foreign goods that enabled and sustained it.
Honest blue collar factory labor will rise again.
Whether it's unionized or not is a side issue.
If you've saved some of the money cheap overseas labor has earned for
you in buying your toys, you'll be okay.
If you've spent like a drunken sailor and dug yourself into a hole,
you're in for "an entirely new experience."
Of course - and as usual - I may be wrong.
It's happened before. (-:
