I want to insulate my forward berth. What's the best insulation?
single best product that I used when living aboard was a aluminum foil/mylar
bubble wrap product called reflectix. It made winters aboard in Toronto
more than bearable!

I'm re-doing the forward berth on my Westsail 32 and it involves removing
some
ribbing, then putting in the insulation ( I was thinking of rolls of
'backed'
insulation.
I think they are backed with aluminum). Putting the roll in plastic to
prevent
moisture from entering was another goal. I was wondering how thick it
should
be and where to get it.
Thanks
