Personally, I think the system works fine just as it is with one
exception. We need to break up the big states into smaller states.

Personally, I think that is something that shouldn't be taken lightly.
I'd also point out that the converse is also true. Why should a sparsely
populated state's Senators have the same power as a large state? I'd
also point out, the smaller states tend to have longer entrenched
politicos, thereby increasing their power.
And more to the point, why in the hell would I want to give more
conservative states more power? ;-)
I think the field needs to be evened out a little to bring balance back
into our legislatures, Congress and the Presidency.
