Does not work that way. The more Israel attacks the Palestinians the
more easily outfits like Hamas can recruit. When Israeli rockets kill 5
little girls who are sisters, those girls act as poster children to
motivate the next wave of suicide bombers.

I was really being a bit factious here as of course I realize that the
perfect method of recruiting is to have some martyrs to point to. The
attacks undoubtedly do cause waves of enlistments in the Hamas ranks.
Obviously, I suppose, as they use numbers of them as bombs - must have
spares.

Unfortunately the Israelis appear to have no other option. I don't
follow M. East politics much but didn't the Israelis agree to
negotiate some sort of peace scheme with the Palestinians?
