The pictures you see of our driveway are a bit deceiving. There is quite
a steep hill coming up from the horse barn to the house. If it's not
plowed, the snow packs down into ice and it becomes very slippery.

When that freezes, it's slide-on-your-ass-down-to-the-barn-time. Also,
notice that I even plowed Mrs.E's horse riding track in the paddock. The
little Gator does pretty good for having a little 20 hp engine. It was
pushing snow about 16 inches deep:

This morning was the first time in 7 years that the tractor (diesel)
wouldn't start. It was 5 degrees and it just couldn't turn over fast
enough to fire. Needs a new battery.
