Since you asked about boating/fishing this time of year...........
here's
what you might face..

Now that does seem like a pretty stupid thing to do.
But Don. I thought John asked about ice fishing. and I was kind of
interested too. I didn't kow that you lived on that monserous size of
a harbor that was ice free.
I was thinking more like lakes where people go out with a drill and
sit there in sub zero temps on a bucket and see if they can get a
nibble of something. Or those dudes that huddle together in what
appears to be an over sized out house thinking they've had a good day
when they pull up a stringer of what looks like oversized minnows.
I really didn't know you didn't have ice fishing in your area. Of
course, I don't know much about Canada.
But day sailing in this weather? that's idiotic. I noticed the article
said the boat had ice on it, I take it that can weigh it down, making
it sluggish and top heavy?
I dont' know. I'm not a wind sailor.
Don didn't really want to be informative.- Hide quoted text -

But you're the one that called Halifax Harbor a " Bay " ....IDIOT.
You are BOTH acting like IDIOTS.
JOHN said, "bay" and he was right! Most of Halifax Harbour *IS* a bay!
Sheesh....
