That D700 seems to have a focus problem. Perhaps you should have it

Other than the focus, the composition and lighting are spectacular. It's
beautiful the way you organized the colors for the complimentary effects.
It almost appears that you used a color wheel to get just the right
spectrum overall.
Perhaps a little more attention to the depth of field would have helped.
Does the D700 have a depth of field preview button? Sometimes it's
useful.

Salmonbait
It's a snapshot of a couple of housepets napping and sort of napping on
their couch, Herring. That's all it is. Handheld, 1/15th of a second,
f/2.8, lens at 60mm, natural room lights. Not being an alcoholic, I can
handhold a camera at fairly low shutter speeds and get results that are
pleasing enough to the eye.
Your opinion matters naught to me.
Very nice photo, I found the obvious motion blur to be nice, it really
captured the mood of the two cats, lazy and laid back. It looked like
you caught the dark cat "making muffins" on the other cat.
