D. No, I am *not" discussing my personal religious beliefs here. I
do happen to know Observant Jews, they are friends of mind, and
you obviously don't know Observant Jews from a hole in the ground.
No, you don't discuss your personal religious beliefs here.
You discuss everyone else's.
Eisboch
No, I don't. I discuss religions, and I do point out from time to
time that many of those who proclaim their religion the loudest seem
to be proclaimers only.
Do you realize how arrogant and just plain stupid you sound when you
make statements like this.
Actions speak louder than words. Most of those here who proclaim their
religious beliefs the loudest talk the talk but their behavior here
indicates they don't walk the walk.
You have often professed an interest in the teachings of Buddha and may
possibly be a follower of the Dali Lama. You actions of constantly
mocking and judging other beliefs is contrary to Buddhism and the
teachings of the Dali Lama.
I'm also interested in the teachings of Jesus and many of the Biblical
prophets, and I certainly am a fan of the Dalai Lama.
It's not the "beliefs" I mock, it's the self-proclaimed believers.
Harry, could you give an example of 'self-proclaimed believers'? You keep
using the term, and I've asked for examples, but you've not been able to
provide any. I even offered a suggestion or two.
Does your religious faith encourage the 'mocking' of others? My father's
second wife was Jewish, but I've never known her to mock anyone.

It's really easy, John. Anyone who professes to be a "Christian," but
doesn't follow their saviour's teachings in most of the important ways
is worth mocking.
I'm sure you recognize this:
*Lk. 6.27-36
38 * * ¶ Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a
tooth for a tooth: Ex. 21.24 · Lev. 24.20 · Deut. 19.21
39 * * but I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall
smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40 * * And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let
him have thy cloak also.
41 * * And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
42 * * Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee
turn not thou away.
43 * * ¶ Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy
neighbor, Lev. 19.18 and hate thine enemy.
44 * * But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do
good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use
you, and persecute you;
45 * * that ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for
he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain
on the just and on the unjust.
46 * * For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even
the publicans the same?
47 * * And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do
not even the publicans so?
48 * * Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is
perfect. Deut. 18.13
See any relevance?
Are ye a judge, Harry? Has your religion seen fit to bestow the title of
"Religious Judge" upon ye?
Here, this is something I've been trying to get across to you for the past
several days:
******************************
38 * * * * ¶ Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a
tooth for a tooth: Ex. 21.24 · Lev. 24.20 · Deut. 19.21
39 * * * * but I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall
smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
*****************************
You keep 'judging' the faith, beliefs, and practices of others, post
cut'n'pastes from your bible, but don't practice same. I'm thinking there
is a name for people who do that, but I can't recall it. It would be
insulting, in any case.

I'm not proclaiming my religious beliefs by quoting lines attributed to
your saviour. I'm quoting *your* religious beliefs, and suggesting that
a true believer would follow them. That is all.- Hide quoted text -

Loogy only believes in you, Harry. His life consists of following you
around, waiting till you fart...then finding some way to call you a
liar for farting... What an obsessed idiot.- Hide quoted text -

Your infatuation with me is getting kind of scary. I realize that you
look up to me because I'm more than you can ever aspire to be, but
man, give it a break.
