My younger son married a Jewish girl. What a blast we all have at
this
time
of year celebrating both Christmas and Chanukah.
Both her family and ours celebrate both our traditional Christmas
activities
as well as their traditional Jewish traditions and celebrations. It
has
made the holiday season much more interesting, educational, enjoyable
and
just plain fun.
And the food is awesome.

Good thing the Jewish relatives are good cooks. My Sister in law is
Jewish,
and about the only thing she makes is salad. And how great is a green
salad? Even with lots of stuff in it.
If a person made a great green salad, with eggs, bacon, blue cheese,
radishes, green onions, garlic, croutons, more blue cheese, and some
good
olives and then took out the lettuce, it'd be OK.
